We acquire underused lots in mature neighbourhoods and replace them with well-designed multi-family housing. Each project is planned around the site, the zoning and the street it sits on, from acquisition and approvals through construction.

Winnipeg needs more housing, and much of the room for it is inside the city it already has: oversized lots, tired single houses on land zoned for more, gaps on streets with transit, schools and services in place.

Copper Pine exists to build on that land carefully. We are a privately owned company, which means the people making the decisions are the people accountable for the result. We take on a limited number of projects so that each one gets the attention it needs.

We work with local architects, engineers, trades and suppliers, and we expect our buildings to be good neighbours long after construction ends.

Integrity
We say what we will do and then do it. Sellers, neighbours, trades, lenders and tenants all get the same straight answers, including when the answer is not the one they hoped for.
Ethical development
A new building changes a street. We build within the rules and design each project to integrate seamlessly into its community. Adding homes should not come at the expense of the people who already live there.

We build for Winnipeg winters and for decades of use: sound building envelopes, durable materials, and details chosen for how they will perform in year twenty, not how they photograph in year one.
